About the team :
The EU Toys PM team serves as a strategic enabler for the category, focusing on complex, data-driven and often Toys-specific initiatives not addressed by Retail central teams. Our mission centers on driving scalable solutions that improve business health through innovation, process excellence and team productivity. Unlike SME roles, PM-led projects focus on less-defined problems, coordinate with central teams, and require advanced data analytics capabilities to uncover new insights and create scalable, automated solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
The ideal candidate will couple strong business judgment with analytical skills to deliver processes, tools and mechanisms that address complex, Toys-specific often under-defined business problems. They will operate both at a strategic and tactical level, leveraging a strong commercial understanding to help shape the vision for the business while staying connected to the details and implementing solutions end-to-end.
- Lead strategic initiatives across EU Toys' core business pillars (Profitability, Selection, Availability, and Deals), developing mechanisms to optimize business performance and improve the customer experience;
- Focus on Toys-specific problems under served/unaddressed by central teams (e.g. seasonality, short product lifecycle, tail selection);
- Act as the interface between the Toys eam and key partner teams (e.g. Supply Chain, Direct Import);
- Audit the business regularly and proactively to uncover insights and improvement opportunities;
- BE a champion of team productivity and drive automation and efficiency improvements across processes and workflows;
- Identify opportunities to scale successful solutions beyond Toys to the broader organization.
QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE
- Bachelor's degree
- Professional experience managing project and analytical process in large organizations or consulting firms.
- Fluent English both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to structure and solve ambiguous business problems, defining clear paths forward in complex situations;
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery;
- Experience managing complex cross-functional, senior stakeholders;
- Strong analytical acumen with proven ability to synthesize complex datasets into actionable business insights;
- Proficiency in business intelligence and analytics tools, particularly Excel modeling and analysis and SQL;
- Ability to manage a product roadmap effectively, with clear scope, timelines and prioritization.
QUALIFICATIONS APPRÉCIÉES
- Expertise in retail vendor/ supplier management
- Experience in conceptualizing and implementing new metrics and data-driven frameworks;
- Excellence in data visualization and communication, with a focus on creating accessible reporting frameworks for diverse audiences;
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end pilot programs, including requirements gathering, success metric definition and communicating final business recommendations;
- Quicksight development/optimization.
