Your Missions:
- Business Development & Strategy: Define and implement business development strategies tailored to the international transport and logistics sector.
- Identify, qualify, and develop a portfolio of existing and potential clients, focusing on high-value industries (aeronautics, luxury, high-tech, pharma, etc.).
- Conduct market analyses to identify new opportunities and anticipate sector developments.
- Prospecting & Negotiation: Ensure active prospecting and propose customized logistics solutions (air, sea, multimodal transport, customs management, warehousing, etc.).
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying needs to signing contracts.
- Negotiate competitive commercial offers considering costs, deadlines, regulations, and operational constraints.
- Respond to tenders, ensuring project profitability and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships at various levels (logistics directors, purchasing managers, freight forwarders, airlines, etc.).
- Monitor commercial contracts and propose adaptations to client needs and market fluctuations.
- Handle client issues in collaboration with operational teams and the billing department to ensure smooth service delivery and payments.
- Work closely with transport, customs, and warehousing teams to optimize proposed solutions.
- Management & Strategic Monitoring: Provide regular reporting to General and Financial Management (KPI tracking, sales performance, revenue forecasts).
- Implement dashboards and analysis tools to optimize commercial management.
- Conduct competitive and sectoral monitoring to anticipate market trends and adapt service offerings.
- Represent the company at professional events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen its market position.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the transport and logistics sector, with a specialization in international shipments and customs flow management.
- Experience in marketing premium logistics solutions, ideally for high-value or sensitive products (e.g., aeronautics, luxury, pharmaceuticals, high technology).
- In-depth knowledge of Incoterms 2020, French and international customs regulations, as well as import/export and temporary transit procedures.
- Ability to structure and negotiate complex logistics contracts with a client-oriented and profitability approach.
Skills & Qualities:
- Dynamic, persistent, and stress-resistant, with a proactive approach to client acquisition and retention.
- Strong portfolio management skills, capable of handling a large number of accounts simultaneously with high standards.
- Ability to adapt to international environments, with an excellent understanding of global logistics challenges.
- Proficiency in Office tools, CRM, and TMS (Transport Management Systems) to ensure effective client and operations tracking.
Languages & Mobility:
- Excellent command of English (spoken & written), any other language is a plus (Italian, German, Chinese).
- Availability for regular travel in France and internationally to meet clients and partners.
