For our client, based in Villeneuve Loubet, we are looking for a french qualified accounting officer

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated accountant to join our team. This role requires a strong background in accounting, with the ability to work independently and efficiently. As the main point of contact for the chartered accountant, you will BE responsible for managing a variety of accounting tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities :
- Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and year-end closing.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle tax filings, VAT declarations, and other regulatory requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the accounting team and the chartered accountant, providing updates and support as needed.
- Monitor and maintain accurate accounting records, ensuring proper documentation.
- Prepare the payroll data for the subcontractor
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Bac +2 minimum).
- Proven experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in QUADRATUS software and MS Excel.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) and French
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of French accounting standards and tax laws
